July 19th, 2014 - Stopping to check out the Corner on our way to Albuquerque NM for the weekend.
We did something a little scary on the way home from Albuquerque this weekend. We were in such a hurry to get out of town, we forgot to stop and fill the tank up with gas! It's not like back East! There are NOT gas stations on every street corners because there ARE NOT any street corners once you leave the city. It is pure wilderness. The gas light came on and we suddenly couldn't remember if there were any gas stations between us and the next official town called Grants AZ which was 30 miles away! Fortunately, we did find a couple of gas stations and were very relieved. We CAN'T do that again.
