Poetic License...Happiness Vrs. Joy

Sometimes when you are between awake and asleep, your mind plays tricks on you and you think that you have created a masterpiece.  Most of the time, you just roll over and fall asleep and other times you may grab a pen and pad and write it down.  Then when morning comes, you exclaim, "What was I thinking!".  Ha!  So here ya go...now you know what flows through my brain right before I go to sleep.  (maybe one day I will actually write a masterpiece...if I can stay awake long enough!)

Happiness is fleeting, casually bought, bartered and sold.

Joy is Eternity breathing, far more precious than corruptible gold

Pursue not earth's tenuous measures, rest instead on Heaven's gains

Happiness fades with the using, while Joy forever remains.

Seek the imperishable treasure, aquire the Pearl of great price

Given freely to all who seek it, found only in Jesus Christ.
